Tips and Tricks against Virus

Here are some tips I would like to share if our computer is struck by viruses. Hopefully it will be of benefit to you all, my friends.

1. Make sure you turn off system restore point , because it is where virus usually hide, including worms.
2. Change all of your .doc format files into .rtf to avoid losing data
3. If you use anti virus downloaded from this site, let's say PC Media AV, rename it into another name, example go.exe, because some viruses have the ability to dismantle antivirus
4. Use best antivirus you have and update it frequently
5. If your computer can not be turned on because of virus, try using live cd, either linux live cd or windows live cd, transfer your data and save them to flash disk.
6. Make sure you delete auto.inf file from your flashdisk, because quite many times virus strike automatically when the flashdisk connect to your PC.
7. Last but not least, don't get panick when you deal with virus, be calm, then you will find the way out.
